TERMINAL CLEANS
A medical terminal clean is a deep cleaning and disinfection process that takes place in healthcare settings after a patient is discharged or transferred to eliminate pathogens that could cause healthcare-associated illnesses. With a terminal clean request, floors, walls, all equipment and surfaces are detailed cleaned and disinfected. Stronger disinfectants with quicker kill times are used.
Terminal cleaning is done on an as needed basis and coordinated between the customer partner and MJV's Regional or Site Coach. This is a critical step in infection control at all of our medical customer partner facilities.
